Fantastic Plastic

This lively 45 minute game show style performance explores the history of plastics and asks the big question "What is plastic?"

Pupils "travel back in time" to meet characters connected with Xylonite, the very first commercial plastic and Erinoids, a Stroud based company that made plastic from milk.

ADDITIONAL WORKSHOP

The performance can be followed by a practical 30 minute workshop demonstrating ways to reduce, reuse and recycle plastic.

Session times 10.30 - 12.00 or 1.00 - 2.30

Curriculum areas: Science, History, English, PHSE, Design and Technology

Outreach - £ 100.00 (plus £ 15.00 one off booking fee and £ 15.00 travel)
