Home/Front

This drama performance looks at life in the Second World War for both the women left at home and the men at the front.

Based on actual testimonies, memoirs and experiences, Home/ Front looks at the effects the war has on Harry and Ivy, a couple who meet as war begins. When he is called up their letters form the structure for the story. Through these exchanges audiences learn about both life at home and life at the front. About the joys and perils of both situations. Until Ivy receives the final telegram.

Funny, terrifying, moving Home/Front explores the issues of war and places the facts in a human context.
