Self Harm
Screaming Without
Words Developed with Ealing Child
Protection Committee "Screaming Without Words" is a new
one day training event focusing on young people and self
harm. The programme formed the main focus of Ealing
ACPC's annual conference in November 2005 and was met
with high acclaim. "Screaming Without Words" is now
available for other organisations who are looking for a
focussed day working on self harm issues. For more

Abuse Family Portrait: Paul's
Story Paul's Story has been performed at
a number of venues throughout the U.K. and has been used
by a number of organisations for their own staff. For
more information click here In addition we developed a one
person 60 minute performance of Pauls's Story which was
first performed for The Thames Valley Partnership in
October 2005. For more information click here Domestic
Violence Family Portrait: Mary's
Story Mary's Story has been performed at
a number of venues throughout the U.K. and has been used
by organisations to train their own staff. For more
information click here.
A 90 minute performance version of the one day event is
currently being developed which can be used by
organisations to raise awareness of the issues
surrounding domestic violence. Safe As
Houses This 60 minute performance looks at
the effects of witnessing domestic violence on a young
person and was first performed at Bracknell ACPC's annual
conference in January 2006. For more information click

training events We have developed a number of
training events specifically tailored to the needs of
particular organisations: Rhondda Cynon
Taff Leaving Care - This
programme developed in September 2005 looked at the
difficulties in working with young people who are facing
leaving care and the complexities of the issues
surrounding finding them new placements. Ealing Borough
Council Inter - agency communication
- This programme developed in 2005 looks at the
requirements for agencies involved in child protection to
communicate in order to correctly recognise the full
situation for a family in crisis. These programmes are not available
to other organisations because they are site specific but
we can develop similar events for organisations who have
concerns in these areas. Theatre In
Museums Spaniel in the Works have been
commissioned to create a number of new project and
characters for various museums: Gloucester
Archives and Museum In The Park,
Stroud Working with Gloucestershire
Archives and the Museum In The Park, our most exciting
new project for 2007 focusses on slavery. Tying in with
the bicentennary abolition of the slave trade
Inhuman
Traffic
looks at historic characters connected with
slavery and the position of people who are modern slaves.
The project involves three separate
performances for general public, secondary schools and

with the education officer at the Museum
In The Park developing new
educational programmes. These including storytelling
performances, a new multiple character show
Snapshots
of Victorian Life
looking at the lives of Victorians in Stroud and have
created a programme of outreach performances for schools.

history of plastics to a Victorian servants lives, for

Moll Cutpurse, the cross dressing thief and Robert
Dudley, Queen Elizabeth's favourites return to the
Wallace
Collection for special
schools performances Benjamin Dean Wyatt the architect
of Apsley House will be appearing on a number of dates at
the house to talk about his remarkable improvements on
the property, his relationship with the Duke of
Wellington and how he managed to run overbudget, for

Spaniel in the Works educational
"trigger " video "Don't Get Me Wrong" contains 6
short scenes which explore different aspects of
relationships was launched by SWAAY at the NOTA
conference earlier in 2005. We can create videos on a range of
subjects for organisations using our skills as writers,
actors and technicians.
